Daniel Metcalfe

Daniel Metcalfe is an experienced transactional attorney, with extensive experience in commercial real estate, construction, commercial transactions and negotiations, business formations, and corporate governance. With a background as in-house legal counsel for major local real estate development/investment and construction companies, Daniel has a deep understanding of the inner workings of businesses and the key interests of stakeholders.

Daniel has successfully established and led in-house legal departments, managing each aspect of the development lifecycle, from real property acquisition and entity formation, through construction and operation and on to disposition of commercial real estate developments. He has managed complex negotiations for real property acquisitions, commercial leases, and construction projects, and overseen complex litigation matters. His role has often extended beyond traditional legal functions, involving strategic business advice on various investments, complex negotiations, and corporate strategy.

Daniel’s ability to blend legal expertise with business insights ensures that clients receive comprehensive, cost-efficient, and effective solutions in furtherance of business objectives and profitability.

Daniel is a native and current resident of Bountiful, Utah, along with his wife, their 5-year-old son and 3-year-old daughter, with a second daughter expected at the end of the summer. He enjoys riding motorcycles, spending time with family and friends, and loves spending summers on the lake. One of his favorite traditions is the annual cabin trip to Island Park with his large group of siblings and dozens of nieces and nephews.
