Karly Walton has built a robust legal practice upon her extensive experience representing clients in a wide array of complicated civil litigation matters. Karly’s practice is centered around property rights, real estate transactions, property management, rental and investment properties, fair housing, land use, construction defects, partnership/business-governance problems, community association issues, and contract disputes in real estate and business contexts. Karly has litigated in federal and state courts and has also handled cases before a variety of administrative agencies and tribunals. On the often-related transactional side, Karly’s practice concentrates on real estate and financing transactions involving both residential and commercial properties. She represents property owners, buyers, sellers, developers, investors, landlords, property managers, real estate agents and brokers, business owners, and other market participants.
In addition to her legal practice, Karly is Utah Real Estate Continuing Education Instructor who teaches 16 different courses centered around real estate transactions and property management. Karly is also involved in shaping the law through politics. Karly as Co-Chair of the Government Action Committee for the Utah Chapter of IREM (the Institute of Real Estate Management).
