W. Lleyton Parker

Lleyton Parker focuses his practice on corporate law, with a concentration in mergers and acquisitions, business formation, securities compliance, contract negotiation, tax structuring, real estate transactions, and data privacy and security. He advises startups, founders, and closely held businesses through all stages of the business lifecycle — from initial formation and capitalization to complex growth transactions and strategic exits.

Lleyton regularly counsels clients on the legal and regulatory aspects of buying and selling businesses, raising capital, and structuring joint ventures. He has a particular interest in helping entrepreneurs and growth-stage companies navigate entity selection, deal structuring, and compliance across multiple regulatory regimes.

With a background in transactional law and a strategic, detail-oriented approach, Lleyton partners closely with clients to align legal solutions with long-term business objectives. He also works with clients to address evolving issues in data privacy, cybersecurity, and digital asset management.

Lleyton earned his J.D. from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law in 2024, where he received the Business Law Certificate.

He currently serves on the Business Law Section Leadership Committee. When he’s not working, Lleyton enjoys reading and seeing movies, playing games and doing puzzles with family, and spending time outdoors throughout Utah.
